Common QUESTIONS.
Find answers to common questions about our theatrical installations, safety standards, and project timelines.
How long does a typical installation take?
Timelines vary depending on the scope. A simple lighting rig upgrade might take 2-3 days, while a
full-scale auditorium sound and staging installation can range from 2 to 6 weeks. We provide a detailed
project timeline during our initial consultancy.
What is your consultancy process?
Our process starts with a site visit to assess your venue's acoustics, structural capacity, and
requirements. Following this, we create a bespoke design proposal and itemized quote. Once approved, our
project managers coordinate the installation around your venue's schedule.
What safety standards do you follow?
Safety is our highest priority. All our rigging and installations comply with LOLER (Lifting Operations
and Lifting Equipment Regulations) and PUWER standards. We also provide full NICEIC certified electrical
installations and PLI coverage up to £10m.
Do you provide maintenance and safety inspections?
Yes, we offer annual LOLER inspections and preventative maintenance contracts. Regular servicing ensures
your equipment remains compliant and reduces the risk of failure during critical performances.
Do you only work with professional theatres?
Not at all. While we work with professional venues, a large portion of our work involves educational
institutions (schools, colleges, universities), community centers, and places of worship. We scale our
solutions to fit both the space and the budget.
Can you upgrade our existing equipment?
Absolutely. We often work on "hybrid" projects where we integrate modern LED lighting or digital audio
consoles with existing infrastructure to maximize value while significantly improving performance
quality.
What are your typical payment terms?
For large installations, we typically require a deposit (usually for equipment procurement), followed by
milestone payments during the installation, and a final balance upon successful commissioning and
training.
